The Sharks kicked four goals in the first quarter, two in the second, two in third and four in the last.
Peyton Mackie and Bindi Crabtree did a great job at winning the contested ball in the midfield and getting the ball forward.
Lillian Behan and Avalon Pearce did a great job in the ruck, whilst Grace Cooper kicked three goals.
After the game Southport Coach Shannan Tate said, “We wanted to be united in everything we did today and making sure we got our fundamentals right.”
“Part of being united, is to make sure we are taking shots at goal from the best possible positions, and I think kicking 12.6 demonstrates we did a great job at doing that.”
“The other pleasing thing was that we took risks with the ball, and it was a pleasure to watch.”
