After the game Southport Coach Matt Lappin said, “We were really keen to bounce back from our first loss of the year and set ourselves to put in a really good performance.”

“It was an even first quarter, but as the longer the game went, I thought we were able to wear down Wilston Grange who are a high energy and high running team.”
