The QAFLW fixture for the 2026 season has been released, featuring eight games at Fankhauser Reserve.

To kick things off, the Sharks will venture to Neptune Homes Oval to take on Broadbeach on the 11th of April.

Round two will see a Grand Final rematch, coming up against the Morningside Panthers marking the first of eight home games.

Round three the Sharks face off against University of QLD, at Base Architecture Meadows on Saturday 25th of April commemorating ANZAC Round. 

Then, into Wilston Grange at home on the 2nd of May.

Rounds five and six are both away, firstly at Giffin Park against Coorparoo – followed by Aspley at Automall Aspley Oval on May 16th, marking Sir Doug Nicholls Round.

Resuming on May 30th after a competition bye, Southport take on Morningside again – this time Jack Esplen Oval.

Rounds eight and nine will showcase back-to-back games at Fankhauser Reserve, against Bond University and University of QLD – with Round 10 at Hickey Park against Wilston Grange.

Into the back half of the season, the Sharks will be back on home soil for Rounds 11 and 12 – taking on Coorparoo on June 27th, and Maroochydore on the 11th of July.

Rounds 13 and 14, the Sharks will play Bond Uni on the road and Aspley at home for two consecutive weeks of Pride Round.

Saturday August 1st will be the final QAFLW game at Fankhauser Reserve for the home and away season, facing Broadbeach.

The home and away fixture will conclude with an away trip on the 8th of August against Moreton Bay. The Southport Sharks will feature in 16 games for the season, with two byes on the 23rd of May and the 4th of July.

Last week, Ben Jepson became the latest senior men’s Southport player to be added to an AFL list, after signing a contract with the Gold Coast Suns.

Southport are through to a preliminary final against Footscray after defeating a star-studded Geelong outfit by 29 points at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday Afternoon.
