Maddy Watt has won her second Audrey Fankhauser Medal after being announced Southport’s 2024 QAFLW Seniors Best and Fairest on Friday Night at the Sharks Event Centre.

Maddy Watt has won her second Audrey Fankhauser Medal after being announced Southport’s 2024 QAFLW Seniors Best and Fairest on Friday Night at the Sharks Event Centre.

Watt was also named this year’s QAFLW Senior’s Best Finals Player alongside Kaylee Kimber who was recently drafted to the Western Bulldogs.

On Friday Night, Kimber was also awarded with the QAFLW Seniors Coaches Award.

This year’s Emma Zielke Medalist (QAFLW League Best & Fairest), Steph O’Brien, was the runner-up in the Sharks’ best & fairest count.

Young gun Georja Davies was named the Seniors’ Most Consistent Player, whilst Emma Suckling was rewarded as the Seniors’ Most Professional Player in her first season at the club.

Leigh Alder received the Trademark Award, which is chosen based on players’ votes for who they believe best reflects the values of the club in the QAFLW program.

Jess Maher won the QAFLW Reserves Best and Fairest, with Taylah Power finishing as runners-up.

The other QAFLW Reserves winners were Maddie Gault (Most Improved Player), Chaise Montey (Coaches Award) and Serina Balanda (Best Finals Player).

QAFLW Player Danielle Smith was awarded the Bill Wood Club Person of the Year for her contribution to the club off-field this season.
