The Southport Sharks have signed promising young Ruckman Marcus Khoo.
The 21-year-old is returning to Queensland after one season with Kyabram in the Goulburn Valley League in Victoria.
Before moving to Victoria, Khoo played in the QAFL for Redland-Victoria Point and Mt Gravatt in the QAFL, having been a junior at both clubs.
Khoo had been training with the Sharks over the pre-season with the hope of being added to Southport’s list.
Southport’s General Manager of Football Operations, Jarrod Field, said, “We have been impressed with Marcus this pre-season and are pleased to welcome him to the club officially.”
