For a third consecutive year, Rianna Schipp will remain as captain of the club after leading the Sharks to back-to-back premierships – while Steph O’Brien will carry on as vice-captain.

Megan Hunt continues her supporting role on from last year, with new additions in youngster Peyton Mackie, Olivia Meagher and former Gold Coast Suns player Wallis Randell rounding out the Senior leadership group.

Taneille Krzyska will also resume as the sole captain of the Reserves, following their second consecutive premiership in 2025.

Southport’s Assistant Manager of Football Operations David Ashkar said, “We’ve had three changes to our leadership group this year and they’re doing a great job so far.”

“We’re really excited about our leadership group and the way they drive the rest of group to aspire towards excellence.”

“We look forward to them leading us into 2026 and having another successful year.”

Southport’s QAFLW season kicks off on Saturday April 11, when the Sharks travel to Neptune Homes Oval to take on the Broadbeach Cats.
