The Southport Sharks would like to congratulate Abbie Pluples, who will be playing her 50th senior game for the club this Saturday against Wilston Grange.
Pluples is a Southport Junior and has been part of the senior football program at the Sharks since its inception in 2020.
The midfielder played in the 2020 and 2021 Southport QFAW Division 1 Premiership teams and also played in the Sharks 2022 QAFLW Grand Final team.

Southport’s Assistant Manager of Football Operations, David Ashkar, said, “It is a terrific achievement by Abbie to play 50 senior games for the Sharks.”
“She has played a significant role in our journey as a football club in the women’s football space, and we are very appreciative of that.”
“On behalf of everyone at the Southport Sharks, we wish her all the best this weekend.”
Southport’s game against Wilston Grange starts at 2:00pm (AEST) at Fankhauser Reserve on Saturday, April 6. The game will be live-streamed via AFLQ’s Youtube Channel.
