The Audrey Fankhauser Medal was introduced this year for the QAFLW Senior player adjudged the best and fairest player.

Watt did win the best and fairest medal last year when the club was in Division 1 and has taken herself to the next level now the club is in the QAFLW.

The midfielder was fifth on the leaderboard halfway through the count and came home strong to win it by 12 votes.

Her midfield partner, Georgia Breward, finished second.

Poppy Boltz finished third, and she was awarded the most courageous player.

Selina Priest, named the 2022 Emma Zielke Medallist (league best & fairest), was awarded the coaches award.

Kaylee Kimber was awarded the Shark’s best finals player for her exceptional performance in the finals series, which subsequently helped her get drafted to the Gold Coast Suns.

Georgia Eller was awarded the most improved player. Leigh Alder was awarded the Trademark Award as the player who demonstrates the club’s values the best.

It was a very tight count in the Reserves, which ended up in a tie for first.

Lily Munro and Indira Maradani both ended up with 85 votes, and Tayla Gregory finished three votes behind in third spot.

Meghan Sullivan, who came from the US this year, was awarded the Sharks best first year player, and Serina Balanda was awarded the Reserves best team player.

Alessia Smythe was named the best on the ground in the QAFLW Reserves Grand Final and was awarded the Reserves best finals player.
